News March 2021
Solar activity is still nearly at standstill in this phase of the new solar cycle 25.
During March 2021 we saw 7 active sunspot regions and mostly were quite small and not very noteworthy.
At last we see some activity in the northern hemisphere, and in fact, 4 regions were at North, and 3 regions in the south.
The most active region was AR 2810 at N18 307 rot. 2242 that reached 200 mvh on 18th March. All three regions reached class H or C during their surface appearance.
The highest
The expected rise in activity goes slowly but marginally better than solar cycle 24 at the same time.
It is also expected that activity will come to fairly high levels around the first onset of this solar cycle, and that might commence at the end of this year.
